A particularly good marine oil painting by James Aitken (1853 - 1935). A good large and a rarely seen in oil, depicting the sea with sailing ship and landscape in the distance. Signed lower right and titled verso. ‘Little Orme’ which we believe refers to the little

Orme in Llandudno, North Wales. The original price remains viable on the label of £12.

In superb untouched condition save for being re-framed by us in a quality gilt wood frame.
