This is a delightful portrait print of Dante, the great Italian poet born in Florence around 1265. The picture is in attractive muted colours beautifully framed in a stunning hand carved and water gilded Italian frame. The picture dates from around 1900 and is in lovely condition overall with its original stand to the back and a fabulous warm antique gilding. The frame measures 25 cms by 20 cms overall.
