This beautiful head study of a woman is skilfully observed and rendered with a masterful touch. It’s a sensitive portrayal and feels more personal than an academic study. The artist and sitter are unknown but the board is inscribed ‘CRW Browne’ on the reverse.

Framed and glazed.
