Description

Collection of four watercolours on paper. Edward Arden Tucker. 1847-1910. British coastal and landscape water colourist. Signed is works E Arden so as to avoid confusion with his father. The whole family were artists, including his brothers Hubert Coutts and Frederick Tucker. Born Bristol finally settling in Windermere. All four paintings are well mounted and possibly in their original gilt frames. Minor losses to a couple of frames. The sizes of the paintings range from 27 x 44 cm to 23 x 37 cms. The dimensions of the largest pair including frames is 55 x 67. All titled on verso - see images. Can be hung singularly or as two pair or as a collection. All retain strong colour with no foxing. A very attractive collection.
