A charming Victorian oil painting by British artist, George Wells (fl. 1842-1888) depicting a young girl blackberry picking. A delightful composition, signed lower right, G Wells.

In excellent overall condition; a few patch repairs as illustrated. The frame has been over painted in gold paint.
