Edwardian Portrait of a Young Man, Oil on Board - Unsigned.

Description

This elegant portrait of a young man is a beautiful study of English Edwardian life, the studious young man sat with his stiff collar, silken tie and red handkerchief in his jacket pocket.

The painting is in oil on board, and is presented in a gilt moulded gesso frame behind glass ( there are a few reflective highlights on the glass, so i've included quite a few pictures so that you can see the full image) . The framed picture measures 58cm by 42.5cm, the painting itself measuring 43.5cm by 28cm.

The picture is in good condition, with gentle wear to the frame commensurate with its age, please see the photographs for a full depiction of it.

It really is a handsome portrait, and would look wonderful in any home.
