Signed in red in the bottom corner by the known British artist John Morris.

John W.? Morris's work has been offered at auction multiple times. Since 2000 the record price for this artist at auction is $11,400 USD for THE DAY'S BAG, sold at Sotheby's London in 2000.

The artist died in 1924.

Front painting surface in good overall order. Having some minor paint loss, foxing stains also there is a vertical scuff line shown near the side as shown in pictures. Set in a gilt frame with general wear, scuffs, small chips and repairs commensurate with usage & old age.

Cheshire Antiques Consultant LTD operates on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis which means that the International buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes & customs clearance charges and any other customs charges which may be necessary to release an order from international customs.
