An early 19th century marine painting, oil on panel in giltwood frame , by Thomas Binks(1799-1852). The subject being shipping in "The Hull Roads", with a nice mix of sail and early steam ships and is signed and dated Thomas Binks 1827.Binks also has paintings in The Ferens Art Gallery , Hull and The Royal Maritime in Greenwich. In lovely condition throughout. The panel size is 58x 41 cm.
