A charming Scottish school portrait of a Regency gentleman dressed in a white shirt with a cravat and black coat. It’s a fine depiction and captures the subject's character with sensitivity.

The portrait is housed within a gilt frame.

Condition: Fine craquelure but the paint is stable. Canvas relined. Frame with some light age-related wear.
