Description

Willie Stephenson was born in Huddersfield in 1857. He studied at Huddersfield Technical College then exhibited widely including works at the Royal Academy, Royal College of Art, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and other private and public Galleries throughout the U.K.

"Old Mill, Betws-y-Coed" is a very fine example of the artist's work. A watercolour measuring 16"x 24" the painting is signed lower left and is in the good original frame giving an overall size of 23"x 31".
