A beautiful study of a plough horse being ridden through an English country village .Housed in a white card mount with gilt internal edge, Simple gilt frame. Lovely original condition. Irish water colourist 1842-1929. Moved to Liverpool aged 12 where he trained at the Academy of arts. The painting is undated but the last quarter of the 19th century would feel right for this work. The painting exhibits all the style and quality associated with Woodlock. Dimensions including frame 40 x 33 4
