a woman painter born in Paris, who studied with Fernand Imbert and with Jules Adler. She exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, where she received honourable mentions and medals in the 1920s, the period when the oil on panel we present here was painted. Signed at the lower right, the painting measures 41 x 32 cm. Presented in an elegant, quality frame, the overall framed size is 57 x 49 cm. On the verso of the panel, there is charcoal sketch of a woman with a bob haircut and short dress typical of the time.
