A charming and decorative small watercolour study of a shell. The watercolour is beautifully observed and extremely detailed with the shell resting on fine seaweed. The work is not signed which is not unusual. It is in good condition with some browning to the paper. The watercolour is in the original frame which is of a decorative faux wood lacquer, it is in great condition with a lovely original patina. The whole is ready to hang.
