Skippings Fine Arts has dated this piece to the 1960s.
Among the new generation of “Maeght” artists were Francis Bacon, Riopelle, Tàpies, Rebeyrolle, Bury, Adami and Monory.

The painting presented here dates from 1963/65, which is interesting as a drawing by Zuccheri from the same period, and from the same series, is in the collection of the Paris Museum of Modern Art. I have added a photograph of it to the listing, for reference.
Our oil on canvas measures 65 x 46 cm and is signed at dated at the lower right. Presented in its original frame with a midnight blue velvet mount, the overall framed size is 59 x 78 cm.
