Description

Superb quality 19th Century Chinese plant stand or lamp table has a fabulous colour and patina to the hongmu, or suanzhi wood The table surface is inlaid with a substantial rouge marble slab which is in perfect order and has a lovely figured grain and pleasing colour. A shaped apron with foliating carved frieze and open fretwork on all sides is supported by shapely legs joined by stretchers near their base will look stunning wherever it was placed.
