This is a delightful early 19th century silhouette portrait of an elegant young gentleman with fine Regency attire including a wonderful lace neck ruff. The silhouette is highlighted by hand in a white watercolour which adds fine detail and definition. The painting is signed in pencil Enid Elliott Luiden.

This measures 14.5 cms by 12.5 cms overall with the image being 9.5 cms by 7 cms.
