This is a charming country scene by W. Gunton, signed by the artist around 1860. The picture is in pencil and watercolour depicting a hare in flight in a lovely rural setting with pretty repeat design border to the edge. The painting is in its original Satin Walnut frame which has a lovely golden colour and a gilt slip mount. The frame measures 25 cms by 20 cms overall.
