A late 19th early 20th century paining in a giltwood frame. Woodland scene with nudes, signed bottom right. Francois Maury, French 1861-1933. Maury was mainly a figurative and landscape painter and was part of the French Barbizon school of artists. Several artworks of females in wooded landscapes have been sold at auction in the past few decades, for a similar group, and medium see Christies 2004. The dimensions given are for the canvas.
