A fine oil on board landscape painting by E. Milne. The work shows a river landscape with mountains in the distance and an ancient stone bridge with figures crossing. The painting is in very good untouched condition and the quality of the hand is very good indeed. I have been unable to identify the artist, there were several artists with the name Milne and it is possible this was one of these or a family member. The work is in a very good quality modern frame with antiqued gilt finish.
