A charming and decorative oil on artist board depicting a view of the Church at Welford Gloucestershire. The painting is very detailed and has a very free and natural feel to it. The work is titled and inscribed on the reverse: ‘Welford Church, Gloucestershire. MPH Foster 1881. The painting is in very good untouched condition and looks to have been professionally cleaned a few years ago. The work is in the original gilt frame which is of a lovely quality and in good untouched condition. The whole has a great charm and is ready to hang.
