Painted in oils on a wooden panel, the back with glued wooden strips and sacking.
Labels on the back indicate this was a 'Coach door panel from the family stable, 19th century'
The smart graphic layout styled on an armorial crest, on a green ground lends truth to this testimony.
In very good sound condition, tight hairline from the left side, chipped corner.
16,1/2" x 15,1/2" or 42cm x 39.5cm panel thickness 5/16" or 8mm, weight 940 grams.
