Description

This is a delightful original watercolour of an Italian youth by Narciso Scotti 1907-1979. Born Pavia, later worked in Rapallo on the Italian Riviera where his son still paints. In its original gilt frame, the painting dates from the early 20th century and is signed to the lower margin by the artist. This retains good strength of colour and is a well painted image of some charm. The original gilt frame measures 40 cms by 34 cms overall.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
