A fine and decorative pair of late eighteenth century French prints. The prints are typically Rococo in feel with a romantic sense of frivolity. The pair both have titles: ‘La Viste Inattendue’ and ‘La Boudoir’ with a short description below, the prints are dated 1774. The frames are nineteenth century and this is most likely when the prints were framed. The frames are excellent quality, have original gilding and are very elegant, both are surmounted by a gilt metal bow. The condition is good, the prints do have a sepia colour overall, there is a very tiny tear to the edge of one, and the frames have a small amount of repair.
