Description

A well excecuted vintage Yorkshire landscape oil painting by the well known artist, Brian Holmes. Thickly laid oil paint and mounted in a simple oak frame. In superb condition. Brian Holmes (1933-2009). He studied at the Slade and was a brilliant fine artist, in 2003 he was asked to produce forensic drawings for a murder case, they Q.C. commmented that they were very fine drawings! Brian went on to exhibit around the world as well as teaching art. Many of his commisions are now displayed in public buildings and held in private collections.
