A stunning mid-century modern oil by Christian Demianoff Largarde, depicting a model. Demianoff Lagarde arrived in France from his native Russia in the 1950s, and settled in Sète in the South of France. His art brings brings a warm mediterranean touch to Russian Expressionism - and is all the stronger for it. Our abstracted oil on thin board in warm fauve tones is signed at the upper right and measures 65 x 50 cm. It is framed in a luxurious framed by French master frame makers Delf. The overall framed size is 81 x 37 cm.
