We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

New Hall porcelain from the late 18th and early 19th centuries is characterised by fine paste formulations, often transitioning from hard-paste to bone china, featuring delicate handpainted floral motifs and rich gilding.

These items were typically crafted from early bone china or refined porcelain, shaped using hand-throwing or casting methods, and decorated with overglaze enamel paints and hand-applied gold leaf.

Authenticity is determined by examining paste translucency, handpainted brushwork imperfections, wear patterns on the base, and faint pattern numbers or factory marks typical of early nineteenth-century production.

Antique teacups can be displayed within glass-fronted cabinets, used as accent pieces on open shelving, or styled individually on side tables as part of a curated vignette.

Antique porcelain should be washed exclusively by hand using mild detergent and warm water, avoiding abrasive sponges, ultrasonic cleaners, and dishwashers to protect the delicate handpainted enamels and gilding.
