Edward H Niemann, (active 1863-1887) was the son of his more famous (painter) father Edmund Niemann. Edward was a landscape painter from London. He was one of the more prolific and successful of the high Victorian topographical painters. He exhibited a landscape 'near Maidstone, Kent' in Birmingham. According to Wood, his style is similar to that of his father, but a little coarser and broader in terms of his colour palette.
