A well excecuted vintage oil painting by the well known artist, Brian Holmes. Thickly laid oil paint onto canvas and mounted in the original frame. Signed and titled on the back. In superb condition. The West Riding Mill is still standing 60-70 years later. We have two ther painting by Brian Holmes (1933-2009).
C. commmented that they were very fine drawings! Brian went on to exhibit around the world as well as teaching art. Many of his commisions are now displayed in public buildings and held in private collections.
