Frederick E.J.Goff 1855-1931.London topographical painter specialising in painting views of late Victorian London on a small scale.Using a magnifying glass he was able to skilfully paint complicated architectural subjects in the minutest detail.His works were exhibited at the Royal Academy,the New Watercolour Society,the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Glasgow Institute of Art. Goff’s depiction of the sites and moods of life along the London bridges and outside many famous London buildings earned him a reputation during his lifetime and his works are as popular today as they were then.’ Westminster from the South West ‘ and ‘ London Bridge’ pair signed watercolours,inscribed with title,image size each 11.5x15cms,framed size 22x26cms.Housed in original decorative frames with Artglass AR 70 TM(premium ant-reflective glass)
