This beautiful watercolour by George Soper (1870-1942) measures 14"x 20" and is mounted and framed giving an overall size of 24"x 30". It is unsigned and has the studio stamp for George Soper under the mount.

Soper studied Art at Ramsgate and started work as an illustrator, later becoming a renowned artist and printmaker. He exhibited widely including numerous times at the Royal Academy. Soper is widely known for his depictions of rustic scenes, animals and the countryside.
