A fine quality oil on mahogany panel portrait of young Dutch girl. The painting is the most wonderful quality, of superb technique with a great softness of touch. The work is signed by monogram to the top right M.G. and dated 1891. I have been unable to identify the artist from the monogram however the quality of the work speaks for itself and it must be a professional of some note. The painting has been cleaned and is in good condition. The work is framed in a period gilt frame in good original condition with some very minor repairs. A wonderful work with a great impact.
