A charming oil on canvas of a young lady. The painting is beautifully observed and worked in thick oils in an impressionist manner. It is a bit of a mystery as to what the young lady is doing, perhaps she is dancing, or showing off her new shoes. The work is signed to the lower left, it is however somewhat illegible.
