A wonderful Victorian pastel drawing of a ''Grumpy Cat'' signed M. Stacey and dated 1898. The portrait drawing has the most amazing amount of charm and decorative impact. It is a very unusual picture and I''ve not seen anything quite like it before. The drawing is in excellent condition and in the original mount and frame. The artist is likely to have been a talented amateur as there is no recorded artist M.Stacey. The gilt frame is the original with the original gilding, it has some wear and repairs to the corners and works brilliantly with the drawing. A real ''one off'' artwork.
