Description

An early 20thC portrait (oil on canvas). Rear of canvas marked Windsor and Newton....prepared only for ? School of Art London. Well executed it depicts a rather intense gentleman of the 1930's era. Two minor patches to the rear of the canvas. Brass hanging ring to the rear of the frame.

Note...several persons have suggested this is a portrait of Lenin father of the Russian revolution of 1917. We have no evidence of this but Lenin did visit London in the early 1900's and the portrait depicts a younger face than in later photographs.
