Two Irish Modernist Prints by J Kenneth Jamison

Two modernist prints by Irish artist James Kenneth Jamison. The prints are either woodcuts or lino and are typically fifties modernist in design. The larger print is titled 'Wildflowers and Birds' the other is not titled and is a typical Irish landscape. The prints are both signed and dated, the landscape is earlier at 1952 and the other is 1954. James Kenneth Jamison studied painting and silversmithing at the Belfast College of Art in the early 1950s when these works were created, he went on to have a long career with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland eventually becoming Director. The two works are in excellent condition and in the original mounts and settings. The pair have a great fifties look and are ready to hang. Please note there is some reflection from the glass on the photos.
