A really nice quality silvered bronze of a pair of cranes , tail feathers in shakudo , with red enamel crest and gold and silver inlaid eyes .
Standing on a burr wood base one crane having caught a well defined fish in gilt metal .
These are Meiji period and far better examples than later Taisho cranes .
