A very good example of a late 19th century Oak cased Barograph by Negretti & Zambra (one of the very best names in Barograph making). In superb original condition, with bevelled glass on all faces and a strong hinged lid.

It runs on an 8-day movement concealed within the barrel, and is complemented by a useful mercury thermometer, an ink bottle, and an unusual scale plate. The drawer underneath contains a collection of spare charts and unusually the original 'Instructions for use' (very rare to find these still in one piece).

In full working condition.
