Autumn afternoon on The Dee. Titled on verso, this watercolour which typifies the style of James Cadenhead is housed in its original water gilt frame, areas of red bole showing through. Minor chips to the frame. Monogrammed bottom right but not dated but the frame would suggest 1880. James Cadenhead Scottish artist , RSA and RSW 1858-1927. Works sold by both Sotheby’s and Christie’s.
