Description

This is a set of four Indian gouache paintings dating from the mid 19th Century. The paintings show various outdoor pursuits such as hunting, polo, etc. Each of the paintings has a full calligraphic panel to the reverse. They are attractively framed in a narrow gilt frames and glazed to both sides so the calligraphy can be seen also. These measure 39 cms by 29 cms including the frame.
