A pen and ink on paper by surrealist John Holmes, artist and art director, 1935-2011. There are some interesting write-ups about Holmes online. Paper mounted on board, original mount and frame. Signed on verso, title Head First. Along with solo exhibitions he some of his most famous works include book covers for Jaws, and a stone carved image of Mick Jagger.Condition, some scuff marks which can be seen on the image shown C1970. Dimensions inclusive of frame.
