Grand Tour late 19th Century alabaster small scale model of the Temple of Castor and Pollux based on the original in the Forum in Rome. Bright white alabaster temple sitting on a black painted alabaster base inscribed 'Tempio Castore Pollvce'. A rare and beautiful little Grand Tour survivor/souvenir in good condition for its age. Rome, circa 1890.
