'The Dingle, Yardley Wood, Birmingham' Oil Painting by J.jolly

A charming oil on artist board of 'The Dingle, Yardley Wood' by J Jolly. The work is competently done and beautifully detailed, it is also in excellent untouched condition. The reverse gives the full location of the work as 'The Dingle, Yardley Wood, Nr. Birmingham (late Autumn)' it also gives the artist name and address. I have seen the work of J.Jolly before he is not recorded and seems to have lived and painting around Birmingham. The work retains the original gilt frame which is in excellent untouched condition with the original gilding. The whole is a lovely little period work and is ready to hang. C.1900.
