A wonderful, light-filled view of sailboats at large near Venice - one can just about make out San Giorgio Maggiore and a faint pink silhouette of the city in the the background. In unrestored condition and bearing a mysterious signature that I have not been able to identify, the artwork is presented in its original, hand carved hardwood frame. Measuring 35 x 54 cm, the overall framed size is 51 x 70 cm.
