This attractive light-filled Danish landscape captures your imagination and sits you quietly beside a shimmering lake. A worn path leads past and winds its way under several tall trees as the clouds cast their reflection onto the water below.

The painting is housed within a chippy scroll and foliate gilded frame and signed/dated in the lower left.

Overall size: 23” x 17” / 58cm x 43cm

Year of creation: c. 1898

Provenance: Denmark

Condition: Canvas in good shape. It could be cleaned but we prefer it as it is. Frame with several losses and other age-related wear.
