A beautiful atmospheric depiction of a rural country track with barns and cottages. If you cast your eye along the path, you will find the skyline of a distant town rising above the horizon.

We love the way the sun is beginning to break through the dense clouds - perhaps a brighter day ahead.

The painting is housed within an ornate scroll and foliate gilded frame.
