This is an Indian painting dating from the 19th Century, Rajahstan. The gouache painting is finely executed in strong gouache colours and depicts Krishna and Radha celebrating Holi with the Gopis and musicians. The painting is displayed within a deep pink mount and elegant gilt frame which suits it very well. It is in excellent condition and measures 36 cms by 29 cms including the frame.
