An evocative nocturne depicting a woman stood before a vivid full moon and a series of rolling hills. Her left hand is resting on an iron gate as she looks upon a garden belonging to a small thatched cottage.

The painting is signed ‘A Gerhard’ in the lower left.

Condition: Scuffing around the edges due to its previous frame but otherwise fine.
