An early 18th century portrait of a lady seated, in original frame, possibly by Charles Jervas Circa 1730.The canvas has been re-lined at some time but a good decorative painting.Charles Jervas(1675-1739) was an Irish portrait painter who worked in England and succeeded his mentor Sir Godfrey Kneller as Royal court painter to Geo I and II.
The size includes the frame.
