Technical Description

An exceptional original watercolour painted by English painter M Preston in around 1920. It depicts the Sphinx and Great Pyramid with Bedouin and camels in the foreground.

Based on our research M Preston produced a number of these fascinating and delicate watercolours at the start of the 20th century during trips to Egypt. Beautiful workmanship.

The frames are vintage from 1970.
