Pair of Small Marine Oil Paintings

A charming pair of marine oil paintings in original gilt frames. The pair of paintings in oil on board depict ships at sea, one under full sail and the other in rougher seas with a ship, sails furled. The pair do not appear to be signed and both are in excellent untouched condition. The paintings are framed in the original lovely quality gilt frames which again are in untouched condition with a great country house look where the gilding has been gently worn away. The pair have the original framers label on the reverse that dates the pictures to 1908. A great pair of small and decorative paintings with a wonderful look.
